Dragging the court after play is an essential part of tennis. Every player knows it – and every experienced groundskeeper insists on it. For decades, the use of Drag Nets has proven to be an effective and reliable method for maintaining a smooth playing surface.
Our Drag Nets are available in single-layer or double-layer versions, with net depths of 1.15 m or 1.50 m depending on your preference. For an optimal levelling effect, a rounded rail is essential – available in either aluminium or hard red pine wood. Each drag net comes equipped with a matching pull cord, and if required, can be fitted with an aluminium handle for easier operation.
Original Drag Net Mesh, Wooden Rails and Pull Cords are also available as affordable replacement parts for worn components.

More than 30 years ago, the Drag Net was developed as an alternative to the broom. In its early days, a tennis net was simply cut to size and pulled across the court using wooden slats and a rope.
